Several Saddle Ranch Elementary School parents are helping get a NEW running club started on Sept. 12th!
Over 100 schools throughout the Colorado Springs Area, Monument, Woodland Park, Castle Rock, Highlands Ranch, Parker and Cherry Creek are participating in Landsharks Running Club.
Runners will leave their backpacks by the basketball court fence and begin their day at 7:45 AM with some fun warm-ups, followed by a game or two in order to get the energy flowing.
Volunteer Head Coach Erin Grell and Assistant Coaches Ann Barrett
and Vicki McDermott will then break runners into grade levels for individualized games, skills, and drills, and finish with a cool down before dismissing runners to their classes.
All students will sign out of practice with a coach and walk directly into the building at 1st bell.
